Bachmann slammed for ‘Muslims infiltrating U.S. government’ remarks

Anti-Islamic religious hatred appears to be widespread in the United States. Rep. Michele Bachmann, has accused the Muslim Brotherhood for infiltrating the US government and working for “America’s demise”.

She attack was directed at Huma Abedin, an aide to Hillary Clinton.

The issue has storm the US. John McCain, the 2008 Republican nominee for president, to denounce her Wednesday from the Senate floor.

He defended Abedin and called Bachmann’s comments “specious and degrading.”

“These attacks on Huma have no logic, no basis and no merit,” McCain said. “They need to stop now.”

The State Department also criticized Bachmann’s remarks and termed it as “vicious and disgusting lies.”

Bachmann is busy building the anti-Islamic campaign since weeks. She even requested for formal investigations into “influence operations” by the Islamic brotherhood.

Despite so much criticism, Bachmann alleged the Obama administration “appeases our enemies instead of telling the truth about the threats our country faces.”
