An 18 month old girl was admitted in Ramachandra Children’s Dental Hospital in Kothapeta in Guntur District on 8th March.
According to the details, the hospital’s doctors gave the blood available with them. When she didn’t recover, her father’s blood was given. Both blood samples proved to be HIV positive when tested.
Prof. V. Uma Devi, Head of the Dept. of Microbology of Guntur Medical College collected both the samples of blood and sent for examination.
