A 10month-old boy, S Rohan Sal, died in a tragic incident, after he swallowed a lemon while playing with it, at Indiranagar area, on Monday .
According to reports, The deceased, Rohit Sai’s mother, S Varalakshmi, a believer in black magic, used a small lemon to supposedly ward off evil forces and had kept the lemon under the boy’s pillow, since the boy was not well the previous night. Rohan Sal gulped down the lemon while playing with it on Monday morning.
Noticing that the lemon was stuck in the boy’s respiratory canal, the boy’s parentsrushed him to a private hospital at Anakapalle in the district, where the doctors declared the boy brought dead.
According to sources Varalakshmi, a native of Kasimkota area was married to Kanakeswara Rao, a soldier from the Indian Army and native of Maddilapalem area, in Vizag city, two years back.
