Baby born outside hospital and died

Jaipur, Apr 4: In a shocking medical negligence, a woman delivered a premature baby outside a hospital on Saturday, April 03. The newborn died just minutes after the delivery.

Meena, who was six months pregnant, had gone for check up along with her husband Ramratan to Government Janana hospital in Chandpole locality.

When she reached the hospital, she started feeling pain. Her husband said that that he immediately rushed inside the hospital to seek help but the hospital staff provided no assistance.

The couple claims that despite crying for help for almost an hour, the medical staff allegedly refused to shift her inside after she went into labour.

Meena gave birth to a baby girl in the open. Later both were shifted to the hospital where the baby was declared dead.

But doctors insist there was no negligence on the part of the hospital.

They said that it was a premature delivery and the newborn died because the woman was only six months pregnant.
