A baby girl was born in 26 weeks (6 months 2 weeks) at Yashoda hospital, Secunderabad. Her weight was 550 gms at the time of birth. 24 year old Mrs. Gayatri was under the treatment of Dr. V Padmini, Gynecologist who saved the child with her experience and expertise.
Dr. T P Kartik pediatrician and neurologist told that incidents like this in which the lives of premature babies have been saved are quite few. Baby’s health is surprisingly well and she is presently with her mother. She weigh 1 ½ kg now.
