YSR Congress Party MLA K Sarveswara Rao on Tuesday accused Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu of promoting unemployment in Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons at AP Assembly’s media point here, Sarveswara Rao said that as against the promise made in the TDP manifesto of eradicating unemployment from the State, Chandrababu Naidu has been taking steps to remove existing jobs across Andhra Pradesh. He alleged that the government was indirectly removing the employees of Indira Kranthi Patham by delaying their salaries. Similarly, several temporary jobs in Gram Panchayats have been scrapped.
Sarveswara Rao alleged that the Chief Minister was ruling like a dictator and completely ignoring the suggestions being made by the opposition parties. He said that a comprehensive policy was needed to eradicate unemployment from the State. However, the TDP Government is in no mood to take such initiatives, he alleged. (INN)
