Babu Promises Clean Rule By Rectifying Mistakes

TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu has said a country’s wealth will grow when there was empowerment of women, minorities, deprived classes and youth.

The former chief minister, who received a tumultuous welcome on the first day, started his second day padayatra from Kollakuntla village and interacted with women and youth, who apprised him of their tales of woe following power cuts and meager pensions. “Our daily wages remained stagnant while prices of vegetables and essential commodities are skyrocketing,” women told Naidu.

Addressing the gatherings, Chandrababu Naidu said that he would rectify his mistakes, if any, during his previous regime and would give good administration. Stating that he had given top priority to the welfare of the poor and downtrodden sections, the Congress leaders were pocketing the money coming from the masses. He has alleged that the Congress regime has ruined the State with rampant corruption. People of all the communities in the State should be rendered justice, he added.

Alleging that all sections of people were being rendered injustice under the Congress misrule, Naidu said the ruling party leaders were robbing the people and hiding the ill-gotten money in the banks abroad. Stressing the need for economic independence to the weaker sections, Naidu appealed to the people realize the facts and teach a fitting lesson to the ruling party. He also alleged that the State government had imposed 14% tax on food and clothing. Exhorting the women to join politics, he assured them that the TDP would stand by them at all times. (NSS)
