TDP president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, N Chandrababu Naidu today held a meeting with his party MPs in view parliament budget session beginning from tomorrow. The meeting was convened to discuss on various issues relating to Andhra Pradesh, allocation of funds for development of railways in the new state and various steps to be taken to overcome from deficit budget of the state. Naidu has written letters to MPs of different parties to extend their cooperation irrespective of their political affiliation in development of the state. In response to his letter Congress Rajya Sabha member SubbiRami Reddy attended the while YSRC MPs abstained.
Speaking to media after the meeting finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said asked all MPs to help in development of new state of Andhra Pradesh.
It was said that TDP MPs discussed on 35 issues which are to be discussed with the centre and union ministers. Urging centre to release more funds for the development of A P is one of the major issue which was discussed in the meeting and asking the centre to fulfill all promises made in the bifurcation bill.
Union minister for tourism Ashok Gajapatiraju said it was decided to hold meeting with MPs at least once in a year. (NSS)
