TRS senior leader T Harish Rao has alleged that the TDP has become the tail party of the Congress. Referring to the decision of the party chief Chandra Babu Naidu that his party would not support the no-confidence motion, Harish said the TDP chief was protecting as the eye lid protects an eye.
TRS members had paid homage to the martyrs of Telangana at the Gun Park before proceeding to the assembly. Speaking to the media on the occasion, he said Naidu’s real face was exposed through his decision not to support the no-confidence motion. He said this was an example of the level to which Naidu could stoop down. He said if the TDP did not like to support their no-confidence motion, it should move one. He said his party would unconditionally support TDP’s motion. He has alleged that the TDP was supporting the government.
He said though the TDP had moved a no-confidence motion even without numerical strength in the last sessions, his party had supported it. As the government was hanging on life-supporting mechanism, the government would fall if a no-confidence motion was moved now. He felt that NTR, founder of the TDP also would have faulted him, if he were to be alive.
