Babri Masjid: Now, AIMPLB member demands construction of school at the site

Hyderabad: All Indian Muslim Law Board (AIMPLB) member, Maulana Syed Kalbe Sadiq made a controversial statement.

According to the news published in Deccan Chronicle, Vice President of AIMPLB, Maulana Syed Kalbe Sadiq said that school should be constructed at the disputed site. He also said that issue can be resolved when people wish to do so.

He gave this controversial statement on Sunday in Lucknow.

Earlier, AIMPLB informed that the committee has decided to remove Maulana Salman Husaini Nadvi from the board. This decision was made after he spoke about his meeting with Sri Sri Ravi Shankar where he extended support to the construction of Ram temple and said that their priority is to join hearts of people. He also hinted at an out of court settlement by saying, “The courts do not join people’s heart as the verdict is always in favour of one and against the other.”

On the other hand, AIMPLB on Friday said that the land dedicated for masjid cannot be sold, gifted or in any way alienated, reiterating its earlier stand on the Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi dispute.
