Hyderabad: In a press note issued by Jamat-e-Islami Hind, Mr. Hamed Mohammed Khan President Jamat-e-Islami Hind, Telangana and Orissa stated that 24 years have passed since the Babri Masjid was demolished but the demolishers are still free from the shackles of law. All those who conspired for the demolition of Babri masjid, who took part in it, who incited people, who witnessed the demolition, are guilty of violation of constitution and contempt of court, he said. They must be punished for that. If the law of the land would not punish them, then the Babri Masjid will never forgive its demolishers.
Muslims have suffered lot of atrocities but the tragedy which occurred on December 6, 1992 will never be forgotten. Generations of Muslims and justice-loving broad-minded Hindu brothers will never forget that.
Jamat-e-Islami has rejected solution of the dispute outside the court. 6 December 1992 is one of the black days of the country, he reiterated.
