Additional Advocate General of UP ,Mr.Zafaryab Jeelani told that the issue of Babri Masjid can’t be resolved through negotiations. There is no other alternative except Supreme judgment.
He was addressing gathering at Urdu Maskan organized by Majlis Tameer –e-Millat yestaday to release the book “ Ayodhya conflict is a myth and not a reality ” written by Mr.Abdul Raheem Quraishi .
He further told that if Babri Masjid was constructed on a temple site ,why didn’t the rulers who ruled the country for several years object to it .
He told that Allahabad High Court pronounced the judgment on the basis of faith and not on the facts. The majority community has no proof.
Muslim Personal Law Board has approached the Supreme Court. He hoped that the judgment would be in favour of the Muslims. He paid rich tributes to Mr.Quraishi for writing this book. He requested Mr.Quraishi to get it translated in hindi .
