Pakistan’s batsman Babar Azam scored his maiden Test century against New Zealand during the second Test in Dubai. He played a responsible knock of 127 runs to help his team score 418 for five declared in the first innings.
He received a lot of praise from the cricket fraternity but his celebrations were destroyed by a tweet from Pakistani anchor and journalist Zainab Abbas.
After his splendid knock, the anchor took to Twitter to congratulate the Pakistan batsman but ended up getting on his wrong side after referring to him as Mickey Arthur’s “son”.
Babar was clearly not happy with her tweet and hit back at the Pakistani anchor.
Well played @babarazam258 – loved how the boys went congratulating Mickey Arthur celebrating his “son’s” century #PakvNZ
