A 24-year-old B Tech student died after he got electrocuted and fell down from the balcony of a first floor building.
According to Kukatpally police, the victim, L Govardhan Reddy, got electrocuted after coming in contact with a live wire on the first floor of his relatives’ house in Balaji Nagar on Sunday evening. Under the impact of electrocution, he fell down and suffered a grievous head injury. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Govardhan Reddy hailed from Guntur and came to the city on January 23 for some passport related work and was staying at his relatives’ house in Balaji Nagar where the incident took place. (INN)
