Hyderabad, December 14: A student of the city-based Indian School of Business ( ISB) was found dead in his hostel room at Gachibowli today, police said.
The student, Laxminarayan Iyer (31), was a native of Chennai, they said.
The incident came to light this morning when some hostel students complained of foul smell emanating from a room. The police later found Iyer’s body lying on the bed.
According to preliminary probe, Iyer attended the classes on December 8. Since then, he was not seen in the campus. He had joined the prestigious management school in April this year, police said.
The police suspect Iyer might have committed suicide. However, we are probing the case from all angles, they said.
His parents have been informed and an autopsy would be conducted after their arrival, police said.
