Hyderabad, June 18: The B Ed candidates who appeared in the DSC-2008 on Friday staged a demonstration in front of the state Secretariat, demanding that they also be included in the list of appointees under the DSC-2008.
The B Ed candidates protest was conducted under the auspices of All India Student Federation (AISF).
They demanded a 30 per cent reservation for B Ed candidates in DSC-2008 selections. The B Ed candidates also demanded that a decision on their demands be taken in the Cabinet meeting which was underway at that time in the Secretariat.
Talking to media persons, AISF leaders warned that they would not hesitate to extend the agitation to other parts of the state. They even threatened that they are willing to sacrifice their lives to pressurize the government and get their demands fulfilled.
They warned that the government should bear responsibility for any untoward consequences that might occur should they be forced to extend their protest.
