Uttarakhand Governor Aziz Qureshi has been administered oath of office and secrecy as the Uttar Pradesh Governor by Allahabad High Court Chief Justice D Y Chandrachood at Raj Bhawan here today.
Qureshi has been given the additional charge of UP Governor after B L Joshi resigned from the post on June 16 after a nudge from the Centre to some Governors appointed by the previous UPA government to quit.
The tenure of Joshi had expired a few months ago and he was sworn in again for another term. (ANI)
