A delegation of CPI led by G. Malesh met Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy and demanded to do justice to the bus victims of Palam and requested him to give Rs. 25 lakh compensation and Govt. job to one member of the victim’s family.
C.M. assured them to take necessary steps. He then instructed the officials of the Dept. of Transport to meet Aziz Pasha and request him to end his hunger strike. Mr. Ananth Ram, Commissioner of Transport and Mr. Venkateshwarulu, Deputy Commissioner went to AITUC office and offered juice to Mr. Aziz Pasha to end his hunger strike.
