Hyderabad: A delegation of CPI leaders led by Senior Communist leader and ex-MP (Rajya Sabha), Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha, visited Bholakpur, Musheerabad and inspected the house which collapsed during heavy downpour on Wednesday. They met locals and got acquainted with the details of the accident.
CPI State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy, North Zone Convenor Dr. Sudhakar, Pala Venkat Reddy, Rakesh Singh and others were present on the occasion.
Mr. Syed Aziz Pasha said that such incidents occur due to the negligence of administration, and destruction due to natural disasters and supply of contaminated water are common in Bholakpur.
He told that according to locals, soon after the house collapsed, officials of electricity department were asked to immediately disconnect power supply but due to delay in arriving by the officials of electricity department, 3 people lost their lives. Mr. Aziz Pasha demanded 10 lakh ex-gratia to the deceased and free treatment with considerable compensation to the injured. He told that CPI will not keep silent on any kind of injustice done towards common citizens.
