Former Indian Team Captain & Congress MP Mohammad Azharudddin today said that he would not contest Lok Sabha election from Moradabad this election.
“I am ready to contest from any other seat as per the party’s instruction but I will not contest from Moradabad,” Azharuddin told media here.
The former Team India skipper, who came here as chief guest of a national volleyball tournament, alleged that the state governments are not giving proper attention for the development of sports in the country.’
He also stressed on the need for setting up of academies for all key games in every state which would help producing national and international level sports persons.
