Hyderabad, May 17: Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad on Tuesday visited the Care Hospital, Banjara Hills and inquired about the health of Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, who is undergoing treatment there after an attack on his life.
Mr Azad spent about 15 minutes at the Hospital and spoke to MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi about the treatment being administered to Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi.
The Congress In-Charge for Andhra Pradesh Affairs was accompanied by former chief minister K Rosaiah, PCC president D Srinivas and former minister Mohammed Ali Shabbir.
He is believed to have expressed his best wishes that Mr Akbaruddin Owaisi will get well soon from the injuries he had received during the attack on his life at Chandrayngutta.
