Azad to visit Hyderabad on Sunday

Hyderabad, September 10: Amidst political uncertainty due to Telangana agitation, case on Kadapa MP Jagan Mohan Reddy and reports of cabinet expansion, in-charge of Andhra Pradesh Congress affairs and Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad will be visiting the state capital on Sunday.

However, official sources have maintained that Azad’s visit is only for official purpose. He would be attending the golden jubilee celebrations of Bhoodan movement being organised by the Gandhi Global Family at NAC Auditorium in Hitech City. He would be arriving at 8.45 am on Sunday and would leave for the national capital in the evening.

But according to Congress party sources, besides Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, other party leaders, particularly from Telangana would meet and apprise him of the prevailing political situation.

The Telangana Congress leaders would try to impress upon him to make party and centre’s stand on Telangana clear at earliest. Azad is also likely to interact with the Chief Minister about the cabinet expansion and inclusion of PRP MLAs into his team.
