Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad reportedly suggested to his colleagues in the Group of Ministers to recommend to the Union cabinet to carve out only ten-district Telangana State.
According to informed sources, Ghulam Nabi Azad felt they can recommend Rayala Telangana State proposal only if all the concerned agree for it after a full scale debate on the issue in the Assembly, otherwise, it might lead to new problems.
Therefore, the GOM reportedly left the issue to the Cabinet whether it will be 10-district Telangana or 12-district Rayala Telangana. (NSS)
