After holding a marathon meeting with Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana and Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha on Wednesday night to sort out the differences between them, AICC general secretary and State party affairs in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad on Thursday concentrated on the ensuing by-elections to 18 Assembly and one Lok Sabha seats. He held discussions with the three on Thursday and discussed about the ways to tackle the YSR Congress party in the Seemandhra region.
Azad hosted breakfast to these leaders on Thursday morning. They were closeted later. It is learnt that a plan of action was chalked out to counter Jagan. He also elicited their opinions on the Telangana issue in their one hour meeting.
The Chief Minister also met Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh in the afternoon. (NSS)
