Azad, CM to launch ‘Indira Jal Prabha’

Hyderabad, October 02: Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad will inaugurate the ‘Indira Jal Prabha’ at Yerragondapalem on October 2 and the Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will participate in the programme as per the revised schedule. Earlier, Chief Minister was to declare open the scheme.

As per the revised schedule, the Chief Minister will visit Prakasam and Krishna districts on October 2. He will leave Shamshabad airport on Sunday morning and reach Gannavaram airport at 10.50 AM. He will then proceed to Jangalapalli village of Yerragondapalem mandal in Prakasam district by helicopter and meet officials and non-officials.

After attending the Jala Prabha programme, he will interact with beneficiaries and lay a foundation stone for Ekalavya Model School for ST girls at Thimmapuram, the birth place of Allasani Peddana of Vijayanagar Empire, of Dornala mandal to be built at a cost of Rs 12 Crore. Later, he will lay another foundation stone for the construction of civil supplies godowns for storage of 2000 MTs at Yerragondapalem at an estimated cost of Rs 1 crore under Nabard scheme.

The MLS point will cover 41 Fair Price shops in Yerragondapalem, 34 shops in Tripuranthakam and 40 shops in Pullacheruvu mandals. The Chief Minister is also expected to lay another foundation stone for an e-seva centre and then address a public meeting after distributing assets to the beneficiaries under the Indira Jal Prabha. He will reach Gannavaram airport at 2.40 PM. After meeting officials and non-officials, he will inaugurate a milk project and a railway over bridge.

At 3.55 pm he will inaugurate Rajiv Gandhi statue at Ramakrishnapuram. after a brief halt at the State Guest House he will see a demo on IT services and then proceed to Bandar road in front of Victoria memorial museum to flag off and participate in the ‘Vande Gandhiam March’ at 4.35 PM. the cm will attend ‘Vande Gandhian celebrations at the Indira Gandhi outdoor stadium at 5 pm. He will be back in Hyderabad at 8.15 pm by a special flight from Gannavaram airport.
