Azad to address Gandhi Global Family session on Jan 30

Jammu, January 27: Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad is scheduled to visit Jammu where he will address a two-day All India Mega Gandhi Global Family Session on the 64th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi on January 30.

“Azad, who is also a President of the Gandhi Global Family (GGF), will pay floral tributes to the father of the nation and address the inaugural session being held here on January 30 at Parade ground,” state President of Gandhi Global Family S P Verma told reporters here today.

Verma said the All India two-day Mega Gandhi Global Family Session is an outcome of many sessions organised in the country during the last two years.

He said the idea of ‘Gandhi Global Family’ is to work as a non-political umbrella organisation to globalise, coordinate and propagate the Gandhian philosophy.
