Hyderabad: District Education Officer of Hyderabad City issued orders for the closure of Azaan Pre Primary School, Tollichowki. Ms. B. Venkata Narasamma issued these orders after management failed to ensure the security of the children.
It was reported that the classes for pre-primary students were being held on the third floor of the building instead of the first floor.
It may be mentioned that Sanitary Supervisor, Mohammed Jeelani allegedly had raped a 4-year-old girl student. Police arrested him.
On the complaints made by parents and guardians, Department of School Education took serious action against the school and ordered a probe. DEO of Hyderabad had issued a show cause notice to the management. Since the management failed to submit a satisfactory reply, orders were issued for the closure of the pre-primary section of the school.
