Hyderabad, September 30: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today said the verdict on the Ayodhya title suit needs to be studied in detail even as it appealed to all communities to maintain peace and harmony.
In a statement here tonight, party president N Chandrababu Naidu said that the long-awaited judgement was only one phase in the legal process.
“We need to study the judgement in detail. At the same time, I appeal to people to maintain peace and brotherhood,” the former chief minister added.
Praja Rajyam Party chief K Chiranjeevi said everyone should respect the ruling in the decades-old case.
“It is a welcome sign that everyone has appealed for peace and restraint. The media too played a positive role. Any further process in the Ayodhya case should be taken up within the constitutional framework,” he said in a statement.
