The entourage had stopped for dinner at Suryapet in Nalgonda district where Satyam Babu pleaded that he needed to use the restroom.

According to the police version, his handcuffs were removed and he managed to ‘vanish’ in the darkness.

His ‘escape’ has been met with disbelief by Ayesha’s mother who said that this was not possible since Satyam Babu was not even able to walk properly, let alone run away.

Doctors at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences too said that Satyam Babu’s nerves were damaged, rendering it impossible for him to even walk properly.

According to the latest reports coming in, several police personnel in the escort party were suspended over the ‘escape’.
