Axe on MPs-Pitani opposes; Ponnala supports

Minister Pitani Satyanarayana, who hails from Seemandhra, today said Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy will definitely resign from his post.

Speaking to reporters here, Satyanarayana said Kiran Kumar Reddy will resign from the post, but a decision is yet to be taken when to submit it.

It was unfortunate that six MPs of seemandhra were expelled from the party. It was an irreparable loss to the Congress party. Now the expelled leader got an opportunity to put their views of samikyandhra more effectively.

However, another minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah supported the decision of the party to expel the six MPs. They were involved in anti-party activities, which is violation of party discipline, he said while talking to pressmen. Seemandhra MPs were involved in anti-party activities. In spite of insults and injustices, ‘we never violated discipline and always honored the party decision’, he added.
