According to a statement issued by Mr. Syed Quadeer President Bismillah Welfare Society, Patel Nagar Amberpet, an awareness programme is being conducted at 4 pm on 15th May at Mahboob Hussain Jigar Hall in collaboration with Siasat Urdu Daily.
The purpose of this programme is to create an awareness about the welfare programmes for the benefit of the handicapped persons. Govt. issues an identification card to the handicapped persons which enables them to travel free and they are also eligible to get Rs. 500 as pension and insurance. This insurance facility is available to the women associated with DWCRA group also.
Such women may also participate in this programme and take advantage of it. These women after getting professional education and training, get financial help through the banks. Mr. Raghu Prasad, Additional Commissioner of GHMC and Krishna Chaitanya, incharge of the section of handicapped persons will also give the details of the Govt. schemes.
