Awareness programme on Secondary School Syllabus

A meeting of All India Muslim Educational Society A.P. Branch was held at Aligarh Club, Basheer Bagh under the chairmanship of its president, Mr. Asif Pasha, former Law Minister of A.P. The meeting commenced with the recitation of the Quranic verses by Maulana Abdur Rahim Ansari. General Secretary of the Society presented the report in which it was mentioned that a tour of Muslim Educational Institutions of North India was undertaken. The report of the National Executive Committee of the Society held at Chennai was also presented in which a decision was taken to hold All India Muslim Educational Conference in New Delhi on 30th and 31st August 2013.

A detailed discussion was held on the syllabus of National Open School Learning. It was decided to organize an awareness programme of the Higher Secondary Syllabus of these schools in the last week of February. All the managements of Urdu, English and Deeni Madrasas would be invited to participate in this programme.

Mr. Asif Pasha said that there is a need for holding Muslim Educational Conference in Hyderabad.

In the meeting, it was decided to represent to the Govt. to accord second Language status to Urdu in all the educational institutions in the state. A Written memorandum would also be presented to the Govt. for this.

Dr. Mohammed Azam, Mr. Rahimuddin Ansari, Mr. Ghulam Yazdani, Advocate, Dr. Rahimuddin Kemal, Mr. Ziaul Husnain, Dr. Mir Akbar Ali Khan, Mr. Ahmed Basheeruddin Farooqui, Mr. Inamur Rahman Ghuyur, Mr. Sanaullah Khan, Mr. Khaleequr Rahman and others attended the meeting.
