Awareness among Old City Muslims has increased

Hyderabad, May 31: Dr. Amina Kishore, Professor of English of Maulana Azad National Urdu University supervised the Distance Education examinations of Aligarh Muslim University conducted in Hyderabad as an observer.

Addressing the valedictory function of the examination center, she said that awareness among the Muslim Community of the Old City of Hyderabad is increasing.

The function was also addressed by Prof. Abdul Mateen, Prof. Ajaz Masood and Mohammed Ali Kishore of A.M.U. They said that Al-Suffa Centre, is progressing well. By observing the functioning of this center, it is evident that the people of Hyderabad have a greater regard and affection of the Muslim University Prof. Mohammed Ali Khan while addressing as the Chief Guest told that the mission started by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan is being carried forward by the Al-Suffa Model Centre in Hyderabad.

This center is functioning in the city of Hyderabad which was founded by Qutub Shahi Kings. The people of Hyderabad feel deligthted by admitting their children into various courses of Muslim University. Mr. Mohammed Hamid Khan, Principal of I.T.I, also spoke on this occasion. Dr. Waseequr Rahman Farooqui, Secretary, Hindi Prachar Sabha told that Al-Suffa center has been functioning successfully for the past four years for conducting distance mode examinations of Muslim University. Mr. Mohammed Ismail, Principal of the center highlighted the activities of the center. Dr. Qayyamuddin Ansari said that Al-Suffa Model School has revolutionized the field of education offering quality education to Muslim students.

Certificates were distributed to the successful candidates of 2010 batch. Hafiz Abdul Aziz Principal, Darul-Huda, Mr. Mohammed Siraj, Mr. Meer Farooq Ali & Mr. Mohammed Idrees Ghouri also addressed the gathering. The meeting was conducted by Mr. Mohammed Mushtaq Ali.Incharge of the center President of Al-Suffa educational society, Mr. Shaik Jafer thanked the visiting professors of Aligarh Muslim University personally.
