Government hosted Jashn-e-Telangana on large scale on the occasion of foundation day of Telangana state but ruling party failed to appease its leaders and activists who were expecting various government posts for the past one year. Party leaders belonging to the city and districts made representation with ministers and public representatives in this connection.
By ignoring persons associated with the party, recommended names were preferred. It is said that besides others sections TRS minority leaders are also resentful. They have to say that they have been associated with Telangana movement for the past 15 years but they were not included in programme preparation on the occasion of foundation day. The persons whom the awards were presented were not associated with Telangana movement, while minority community was totally ignored for awards in districts.
