Hyderabad, August 24: Awad Yafai and his two brothers who were shot by Akberuddin’s Gunmen get bail after a long drawn legal battle of 100 days. Awad was shot in the stomach he had been admitted in Yashoda Hospital for 30 days.
The judge asked the cop that why they have not booked Md. Jaani gunman of MIM Malakpet MLA Balala.
Ibrahim Yafai who was killed by the gunman got two wounds one in the heart and another in the back which was shot by Md. Jani, the heart bullet injury still a mystery.
The bail petition of Awad Yafai had been posted to Justice Samudrala Govindarajulu of the High Court for orders to Wednesday. Hearing the arguments of the advocates of both the sides on Tuesday, the honourable judge asked why the cops did not book a case for the fire opened by gunman of MIM MLA during the attack in which one person was killed.
It must be recalled that Awad Yafai and his brother Ibraheem Yafai had sustained serious injuries as the gunmen of MIM MLA opened fire on them. While Awad Yafai recovered after prolong treatment, his brother Ibraheem Yafai succumbed to injuries.
With the release of Awad Yafai, the number of accused in Akbar Owaisi attack case who have been released on bail has gone upto 5. While Mohammad Pehelwan is still imprisoned in Cherlapally jail.
Awad Yafai, who is released on bail an hour ago had sustained serious injuries during the firing opened by gunmen of Ahmed Balala, he had been kept on ventilator before his condition became normal. He had been arrested after he was discharged from the hospital and was shifted to Cherlapally jail.
