Mr. Zahid Ali Khan, Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily stressed the need for the Muslim Community to strengthen the society by avoiding unnecessary expenditure in marriages. He told that besides improving our economy, it is necessary that we should educate our children in good schools. It is welcome gesture that girls are inclined to get education whereas the boys are showing less interest in getting education due to which there is an imbalance in educational field in Muslim community.
He was making presidential remarks on the occasion of Silver Jubilee program of Du-ba-Du (Face-to-Face) Matrimonial Alliances at Sadia Function Palace and Rose Garden Function Hall, Champapet. He further told that for the past 5 years, the well wishers are working voluntarily for anti-dowry campaign. Siasat Urdu Daily have decided to award 30 such personalities. In addition to this certificates of recognition of services have been given to voluntaries. Earlier, a movement was started to boycott such marriage functions wherein dinner was served. It is yielding positive results.
