Hyderabad, October 11: “Ave Maria”, owned by Ms Ameeta Mehra, trained by Prasad R and brilliantly ridden by A Imran K, won the A P Race Horse Owners Association of 2,000 metres for Category I horses, the attraction event on 25th day of the Hyderabad Monsoon Meeting held here today.
“Paymaster”, owned by Mr Sunil Nair and trained by A’pam Sharma (Harinder S Jockey up), clinched the Charminar Trophy of 1400 Metres, for Category II horses, the side attraction of the day.
Trainer Prasad R scored a treble and one jointly, while another trainer D Netto, jockies Aashaad Asbar and A K Pawar scored one jointly.
Three favourites and one jointly obliged in a card of eight events.
