Hyderabad, July 3: A protest meeting was organized by Telangana auto drivers’ joint action committee at Press club Basheerbagh in which it was demanded that government immediately hike the minimum auto fare or else indefinite auto strike will be started from 4th July midnight. The meeting observed two minutes silence over the demise of Prof. J Shankar.
Committee president Mohammad Amanullah Khan said that auto drivers’ demand is has rationale as due to repeated hike in petrol and diesel prices poor auto drivers are incurring losses day by day.
