Telangana Auto Drivers JAC has demanded that like the Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao should also announce enforcement of total prohibition in Telangana State. ‘If a decision to the effect is not taken immediately, we would be forced to give a call for boycott of ensuring GHMC elections as a protest’, the JAC said.
Mohd. Amanullah Khan, convener, addressing the media at NSS here today, said that without enforcement of prohibition, KCR’s claim to achieve ‘Golden Telangana’ is ridiculous. He alleged that liquor drinking is responsible for the atrocities on women. He announced that he would undertake fast unto-death from April 1, demanding enforcement of total prohibition in Telangana State, and appealed to everyone particularly women to support his fast.
