Hyderabad: Auto drivers JAC has announced to go off road on September 2. The bandh is being organised in protest against heavy traffic challans. The demands include fixing of Ola and other cabs’ charges on the lines of Delhi, permission to drive autos without 8th class pass condition, 50 pc subsidy on auto insurance, stop impounding of autos by RTA police without any valid reason.
Mohammed Amanullah Khan, other union leaders, Venkatesham, Kiran, Sati Reddy, Mirza informed this in a press note. The note stated that heavy traffic challans will only help in increasing corruption in police and RTA department. The JAC appealed auto drivers of Telangana in general and of Hyderabad in particular to participate in 1-day auto strike on September 2.
