Hyderabad, December 29: An auto driver was murdered allegedly by two of his friends after a drunken brawl at Amberpet late on Sunday night.The auto driver, Mohd Naseer (25), was a resident of Owaisi Nagar in Amberpet.
Police said Naseer and his two friends, Jehangir and Akthar, who are also auto drivers, had a quarrel last night in an inebriated condition.
In a fit of rage, Jehangir and Akthar attacked Naseer with an iron rod and as he fell unconscious, they smashed his head with a boulder killing him instantly.
They later surrendered before Amberpet police.
