A murder attack on a Muslim auto driver in Puranpul area last night created panic in the city. It is said that 40 year old Mahmood Ali resident of Ziaguda was seriously injured in a murder attack by unknown attackers. He was shifted to Osmania hospital by his relatives in unconscious state.
On receipt of information DCP south zone Mr. Tarun Joshi and others reached Osmania hospital and sought details. Police maintained alert in south and west zones.
Following the incident Deccan Waqf Protection Society leader Osman Alhajari reached Osmania hospital and visited the inured. He demanded probe into the matter.
