A 36-year-old Auto driver committed suicide in LB Nagar police limits.
According to police, deceased – Ch Shyam Kumar, s/o Yellaiah, r/o Jangammet, Falaknuma, from the last 8 years use to do pick n drop of school students, in between he met with a teacher naming Shalini, who is residing in Pragati Nagar in LB Nagar area from the last few months. They both became friends, Shalini asked money from him and Shyam gave her Rs 3,20,000. After few weeks Shalini blackmailed him for more money with the help of her friend naming Ravi, due to this he was mentally depressed and under this depression he poured petrol on himself and set ablaze near Shalini residence on Sept 23, immediately he was shifted to Osmania hospital for treatment, where in undergoing treatment he died on 24th Sept by late hours.
Sub Inspector M Malikarjun registered a case and after postmortem deceased body was handed over to his relatives. Case is under investigation. (INN)
