Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities:
1) Preparation of shop drawings for structural and sheet metal parts. With following Basic standards of engineering drawing principles.
2) Preparing Erection drawings for whole assembly with guidelines. As per customer specification provided.
3) Good knowledge in putting weld symbols to different structural members. As per the client standards.
4) Generation of BOM as per Customer Drawings with exact weight & Quantity’s calculations for specified Materials in Customer Drawings.
5) Should have knowledge in Fasteners/Hardware. Able to Calculate the size of Hardware for particular connection as per client requirement.
6) Good knowledge in (AutoCAD) Layout working with layers, Viewports, Scaling as per sheet size & viewports provided by Customer, attributes editing, creating/inserting blocks in layouts etc..
7) Able to work in (AutoCAD) Model space as well as in Paper space to get the final drawings for shop.
8) Able to achieve the deadlines as per the planning provided from Team Head. (Without missing the Quality).
Desired Skills:
Preferably with knowing AutoCAD 2D and 3D Auto Desk inventor softwares is an added advantage.
For Freshers with good Technical Skills, especially able to Understand drawings from customer.
Having good knowledge in Engineering Drawing is an added Advantage.
Able to draw the shop drawings as per engineering drawing principles.
For a right candidate training is provided after joining.
After completing the training, he is able to achieve the below mentioned Roles and Responsibilities.
For Experienced Candidate:
Should be extremely proficient in CAD Drafting Methods in AutoCAD 2D.
Should have experience in converting conceptual sketches into schematic drawings.
Should have knowledge in 3D Software like Autodesk Inventor preferable. For future Projects.
