The former US Navy SEAL who authored a book about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden is now facing threats against his life in addition to possible criminal prosecution.
An official Al Qaeda website the Al-Fidaa Islamic Network on Friday called him “the dog who murdered the martyr Sheikh Osama bin Laden.” The website also posted name, photograph and age of the former Navy commando responsible for the book.
The book authored by the former SEAL who, wrote the book using pseudonym Mark Owen, is due to be released next month on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the United States.
Former Navy SEAL could face investigation because he didn’t clear the book with the Defense Department before publication.
The book entitled is “No Easy Day”.
