Australian rescuer recovered Junaid’s body

Hyderabad: The body of Mohammed Abdul Junaid (26), who took a plunged into the sea to rescue teenagers was recovered by the Australian rescuers after four days.

Junaid Mohammed was one of three men who tried to save the life of three teenagers on Monday on the Australian beach.

On Thursday Junaid’s devastated father, Rasheed Ali was informed about the recovery of his son’s body on the mid-north coast.

“We spoke with the concerned officials after receiving the news and requested them to send the body of my son to India. The response from the concerned officials was positive,” said Ali.

Junaid went to Brisbane in 2012 to pursue a master’s degree in health and he has been working there while doing other short-term courses.
