Mohammed Farooq Ahmed and Mohammed Osman, students of Aurora’s engineering College, Bhongir, worked on the project of replacing two wheeler SI petrol engine with CNG kit. They fitted Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) kit to the health drive non gear vehicle Activa.
The vehicle run by CNG gives upto double the mileage of petrol run vehicle. Petrol run vehicle gives the mileage of 35 km/l while the vehicle run by CNG gives the mileage of 60 km/l where as the speed is same i.e. 75 km/h.
