“Aur Ek Dhaka Telangana Pakka”: KCR

Hyderabad, October 03: “Aur Ek Dhaka Telangana Pakka” (Another one Push; Telangana sure), Decision for formation of Telangana will be announced on December 9th and task ahead is to implement the decision after 31st December” said Mr. K. Chandrasekhar Rao, President, Telangana Rashtra Samithi here today.

He said and asked the people to be firm and alert from all sorts of controversies and baseless campaign against movement as well as leaders. Mr. Rao said this in a centenary celebrations of State Electricity Department.

The Hyderabad State electricity department completes 100 years on October 29th of existence first in south India. He released a poster for the celebrations, which is going to be held on October 29, 2010 at Exhibition ground.

Speaking on the occasion, Rao asked the people to be alert from all sorts of conspiracies to defame the leaders and movement with baseless allegations and charges and added that joint struggle would lead to Telangana. Underlining importance of non cooperative movement, he stated that if the people of Telangana start non cooperation it would force the centre and state government to bifurcate the state.

Accusing the government of targeting the employees, he asked the employees to be united to fight against the government harassments and targets for participating in movement for separate statehood.

Injustice with Telangana is continuing in all sections and informed that high court has issued orders for appointing of junior lineman within one month. It’s unfortunate that the orders were not implemented in Telangana even after one year but it has been implemented within one month in Andhra region i.e. 2009 December.

Telangana employees association President Mr. Raghu stated that Hyderabad state electricity department was established in 1910 and started providing street lights in Hyderabad and Secunderabad area from 1913. Further in the year 1920, Hussain Saga Thermal power plant was set up later on Nizam Sagar Hydel Power Plant etc came up. He further informed that Hyderabad was considered as best city in the country in 1930 for electrification.
