Hyderabad: Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Nampally Criminal Court gave Saud Umodi in Police custody in the attempt to murder case pertaining to Kaleem alias Capt. Kaleem.
It may be noted that Saud Umodi and his associate Mohammed Aijaz, Fruit Aijaz were arrested in New Delhi and brought to Hyderabad. They were given in judicial custody for 14 days.
Meanwhile, Humayun Nagar Police filed a petition in Nampally Criminal Court requesting for the police custody of the accused persons. After hearing the case, court granted 7 days police custody.
Police Humayun Nagar will bring the accused persons from Chanchalguda Jail and interrogate them.
It may be mentioned that on 10th January this year, Capt. Kaleem was attacked in his flat located at Masab Tank in which police had arrested 6 accused persons but Saud Umodi and other accused had escaped.
