A deputation of Majlis Bachao Tehreek led by its President, Mr. Adam Malik met DGP Mr. V.Dinesh Reddy and submitted a detailed memorandum highlighting the attempts that are being made by some communal and saffron colored organizations to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the city during Eid ul Azha. It pointed out that some organizations are stopping the lorries bringing big animals for slaughtering them on the occasion of Bakrid. They are attacking the businessmen and seizing the animals.
The leaders demanded DGP to ban the communal parties. They said that Raja Singh, TDP corporator, Vaikuntan, Sadanand, Shakti, Vinod, K.Murali Krishna, D.Bhargava, and others had disrupted the peace of the city last year.
They pointed out sensitive areas to the DGP. Which are facing threats from the miscreants.
They demanded to make elaborate police arrangements in Narayanaguda, Chikkadpally, Boinpally, Ibrahimpatnam, Dilsukhnagar etc.
The delegation also demanded to post police pickets at important crossroads.
The delegation included Dr. Qayum Khan, Convenor MBT, Maulana Tariq Qadri, former member, Minorities Commission, Mr. Amjadullah Khan Khalid, Corporator. Mr. Ajmaluddin Farooqui,Mr. Altaf Naseeb Khan and others.
